About Glencoe Regional Health Services
** About us **
We're proud of our long-term relationship with many of the families in this beautiful part of Minnesota. Quality, convenience and personal care were the principles of our early organization, as they are for the people who work here today.
GRHS stays on top of the latest research and care practices. We’re growing and thriving, keeping pace with the latest in diagnostic equipment, critical care, surgical innovations and outpatient treatments. And we delivered nearly 200 babies last year.
History Of Glencoe Regional Health Services
** Our History **
Glencoe’s first doctors made farmhouse calls in horse-and buggy rigs. Their offices in town served as exam, operating and delivery rooms for the great-grandparents of some of our current patients.
In 1941, the town approved a proposal to build a 30-bed hospital, funded by a WPA grant, community donations and bond issues.
Now the largest employer in Glencoe, we’re proud to be part of its history
